Stratava IS implements defense-in-depth security:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): TOTP-based MFA is required for all privileged actions and administrative surfaces. Device remembrance with cryptographically signed cookies.
  • Row-Level Security (RLS): All database queries are scoped to the authenticated user's organization, enforced at the database layer via Supabase RLS policies.
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Seven-tier role hierarchy (Viewer → Member → Manager → Admin → Owner → SIS Admin) governs module access, API authorization, and data visibility.
  • Secret Management: Gitleaks integration prevents accidental credential exposure. Environment variables are never committed to source control.
  • Webhook Verification: All Stripe webhook payloads are verified using signing secrets with constant-time comparison.
  • CI Security Gates: Automated secret scanning and MFA guard checks run on every pull request.
